PopTop Actuator’s
Improvements Include:
AG
Series
- Narrower
dimensions:
The new General
Close-off (AG)
Actuators are 2
3/8" wide (¼"
narrower than
the previous
actuator
footprint). This
new design will
now allow for easy
installation in
baseboard
heating units.
- Manual
release button
moved: The release
button has been
moved to the end
of the actuator
for better
accessibility.
- Improved
Close-off ratings:
The close-off
pressures have
been increased by
up to 10%.
- UL
listed: Actuators
have been upgraded
from UL-429
recognized to
UL-873 listed.
AH
Series
- Narrower
dimensions:
The new High
Close-off (AH)
Actuators now use
the previous AG
Actuator platform.
This reduces the
width of the AH
actuator
3/8".
- Manual
override: The AH
now utilizes the
same design as the
AG.
- UL
listed: Actuators
have been upgraded
from UL-429
recognized to
UL-873 listed.
- We
will be
transitioning to
the new product
over the next 30
days. For easy
recognition, the
new product
will have a star
on both the box
and label. The
actuator
dimensions are
smaller, but
have
no fear; they are
a direct
replacement to the
previous Erie
PopTop
Two-Position
Actuators.
